Paul is the SVP for Mobile Telecommunications at Morpho ( formerly Sagem Orga) where he is responsible for the global mobile business in the SAFRAN owned company and focused on strategy and overall operating results. He is based in Paderborn, Germany which is the Global Headquarters for the Morpho telecoms business and where the European R&D and Product Management teams are located.
Paul joined the smart card industry in 1991 when he was recruited by Gemplus to set up their operations in the UK. Over the next 13 years he had a variety of roles within the company and helped to oversee the growth of the UK market in the Telecoms and Payment card segments as UK General Manager. In 2000 he took on a more international role in the mobile telecoms market where he was focused on the development of the European business for SIM products, mobile applications and professional services. Paul worked for Netsize, the mobile messaging services company before joining Morpho ( Sagem Orga ) in 2005 and has a wide experience in senior management and Managing Director roles.
Paul studied Management Science and Marketing at Warwick University and spent the early part of his career in the IT industry working for NCR and Siemens Nixdorf.
