Welcome to the first edition of SIMalliance Quarterly Newsletter! June 2010
Dear Colleague,

Whether pioneering new forms of m-payment, supporting moves into the Cloud or defining (and refining) new interoperability standards, the SIMalliance, its working groups and its members continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, what makes commercial sense and critically, what’s next.

In fact, the mobile market is moving so quickly, and there are so many things going on, that it’s often hard to keep up.
So we thought we’d help by putting together a regular newsletter of the issues you care about.

Every quarter we’ll focus on a key development in the mobile market. We’ll look at how this applies to our sector, we’ll lift the lid on the opportunities, and we’ll uncover the threats. We’ll also set out our own position, clearly and unequivocally, and provide best practice recommendations in The Feature.

We’ll also tell you what your peers think in The Interview. Expect some interesting views from colleagues, market commentators and maybe even competitors!

Each issue will highlight the latest activities of the SIMalliance working groups and member organizations, and you’ll have an opportunity to tell us what you think of the hot issues in our regular online polls.

We’ll keep it short and sweet, and hope it will become a ‘must read’ mail when it hits your inboxes. To make sure it is, we’d like your help: please email any ideas you have or issues you’d like to read about to marketing@simalliance.org

I look forward to hearing from you, and enjoy the read!
Best regards
Frédéric Vasnier
Chairman of the Board - SIMalliance
