Michel Canitrot is Senior Vice-President UpTeq Telecom Adanced Offers at Gemalto. He joined Gemplus in September 1998 as Vice-President of Multi Application Products. He was subsequently appointed Vice-President corporate marketing division of Gemplus' Telecommunication & Public Telephony Department in November 1999. From 2001 to 2003, Michel Canitrot served as Senior Vice-President in charge of Sales and Services and as President of Gemplus Latin America from 2004 to 2006. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice-President of Gemalto in charge of the World Wide Very Large Accounts . Prior to joining Gemplus, Michel Canitrot had a long career within the cellular business of Matra, and five years with Nortel.
