Ph. D. University of California, Physics, Michele held positions in Academia working at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center in Palo Alto, then held position in High Tech industry for IBM, Silicon Graphics. Since 1988 he moved back to Europe, worked first as a Product Designer then as Product Marketing Manager on Telecom equipments & Payment Terminals with IPM Group. He started activities in Smart Cards in 1991, developing schemes for Point of Sales and Payphone services card batch processing, fraud management, Secure Application Module Development and Key Distribution scheme. He was founder and Chief Technical Officer of a Networking Security Start-up (eMaze Communications) serving several Blue-chips companies. He joined Incard in 2003, first as Product & Application Director. On Jan 1st, 2006, he has been appointed Vice-President of Marketing. Michele has published several papers and holds several patents. He is a Member of the IEEE Communication Society, Computer Society Member of ACM/SIGSEC (Association for Computing Machinery, Special Interest Group in Security).
