Today’s universal integrated circuit cards (UICC) or SIM cards are more powerful, more flexible, have more functionality and support more applications than ever before and form the hub of a new generation of converged services and applications. The conference will highlight the increasingly vital role played by the UICC or SIM card in provisioning and securing a highly personalised access to networks whatever the device (Identity Management) and will also discuss how using the latest innovations such as Smart Card Web Server and Mobile NFC, the mobile industry can effectively suit up against the new generation of Internet competition.
