Björn obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Technology from the Munich University of Applied Science in 1997. In 1997 he started his career with the Ceramic Components Business Group at Epcos AG, where he was involved in the Product Marketing of electronic components for several automotive, industrial and consumer applications.
In late 2000 Björn joined the Security & Chip Card ICs business unit at Infineon Technologies AG where he was responsible for the Product Management of 8/16-bit products including the introduction of the world leading 66PE security controller family.
Since 2005 he is heading the Product Marketing for Security Controller used in Smart Cards for Mobile Communication, Payment and Pay TV.
