Brendan Dowling is the founder and original visionary for io global limited. As an experienced telecoms entrepreneur, Brendan has the perfect blend of financial, technology and strategy market development experience for the creation of a new service offering in the mobile arena.
Brendan’s career started in the business strategy and finance practices of KPMG and Coopers & Lybrand. He has owned and operated a number of companies. Brendan was the founder of Europe’s first MNVO, Imagine Mobile, which was sold to Vodafone in 2000. He then acted as Chief Commercial Officer for Ireland’s third mobile network operator, Metero, before starting a new company Digital Versatile Media, which focused on delivering digital content from traditional broadcasters to mobile and PC customers. He sold this company to BT NVP to form io global Limited.
