Eric Vétillard is the Chief Technical Officer of Trusted Labs, a Trusted Logic subsidiary specialized in security services and evaluation. He joined Trusted Logic in 2000, as a Technical Architect, carrying out consulting work on smart cards and mobile security.
Prior to that, Eric worked at Gemplus, first as a Research Engineer, and then as a Java Card Architect. He has been involved in the Java Card Forum since its first meeting in 1997, and has in particular been one of the main contributors on the Java Card 2.1 specification.
Between 1987 and 1997, Eric was involved in research activities on various programming frameworks, ranging from Fortran 90 to constraint programming. He holds an M.S. from
Florida State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Aix-Marseille.
