Based in ZhuHai, Mr. Wei GUO is a Deputy Director of R&D at Eastcompeace Smart Card CO.LTD, which engages in the development, production, and sales of magnetic stripe cards and smart card products. It offers microprocessors and memory cards for various uses, including SIM cards, identity and health cards, loyalty or membership programs, as well as ATM, Visa, and master cards. Mr. GUO has been in this role since April, 1999 and his responsibilities include R&D of cards for both telecommunications(China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom) and banking(China Unipay, ICBC,CCB,ABC,BOC and so on), in banking market, the main productions include credit card, EMV/PBOC immigration and Data prepare, personalization system and some other products (e.g. mobile payment based on NFC or 2.4G RFsim). Since 2008, Mr. GUO is the Chairman of Ota-Asia Work Group of Sim Alliance which is the most important internal organization in SIM industry.
