Paul Gosden joined the GSMA in June 2006 as Director of Devices (DG) and Smart Card Groups (SCaG). One of the main elements of his role as SCaG director is to provide support and advice on the best implementation of Smart Cards. Current areas of focus are to act as a primary liaison point between Association and Smart Card manufacturers, application developers, operators and service providers using Smart Cards and to provide input and advice on business and operational issues arising from new and existing proposals which will impact Smart Card management. Prior to joining the GSMA Paul had a long and varied career within the telecommunications industry.
