To ensure that your UICC is interoperable with all the key elements in the NFC ecosystem you have to consider all of the
key elements that touch the UICC
- Compliance with SWP & HCI: ETSI have issued TS 102 694-2 for SWP and TS 102 695-2 for HCI test specifications for SWP and HCI support on the UICC
- Compliance with Global Platform 2.2: The ‘glue’ that allows applications to be loaded and personalised over the air onto the UICC is provided by the Global Platform card specifications. Global Platform have defined test suites that test card Global Platform compliance
- Compliance with Service Provider requirements for eTransport and ePayment: Check that your contactless application has been correctly personalised on the UICC
- Resolve interoperability issues: Spy on the two different interfaces to resolve interoperability issues:
- Contactless Front End (CLF) SWP-UICC
- Reader to Handset over ISO 14443
