APSCA

Established in 1997, the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association (APSCA) is a non-profit, independent association for organisations in the smart card industry in the Asia Pacific region.

APSCA is the only professional association for smart cards covering the Asia Pacific and has over 50 members in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand and Pakistan. The Association delivers business networking and contacts, industry information and trends, business matching, guidance and consultancy to corporations and government organisations, including smart card scheme operators and suppliers, providing an unparalleled opportunity to solve problems, facilitate smart card initiatives and generate increased business development.

APSCA has organised over 100 industry events focusing focusing on government, transportation, banking & payments and telecoms. Many of these industry events are organised together with influential organisations such as government agencies responsible for eID cards and passports, ministries of transport, ministries of finance, Visa & MasterCard, national banking associations, mobile operators, etc. which provide business opportunity for APSCA members.
